Vice Principal

We are seeking an inspiring, intelligent and ambitious leader to join our senior leadership team and to support the College’s ongoing success.  We are looking to appoint a Vice Principal to lead on assessment and outcomes across the College.

Candidates will be capable, articulate and dedicated to bringing positive outcomes for young people in our school community.  Above all else, they must be excellent teachers and act with integrity at all times.  We are passionate about teaching and learning and would love to hear from you if you share our belief in the power of education to transform lives.

The successful applicant will:

  • be an excellent practitioner in the classroom;
  • have a proven track record of school improvement at a senior level;
  • have experience of leading teams and improving outcomes;
  • have a strong understanding of assessment and its uses;
  • have experience of using data to good effect;
  • have proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others;
  • have an up to date knowledge of the emerging issues in school leadership;
  • be a committed, highly-competent, reflective and resilient individual;
  • have a sense of humour and good interpersonal and communication skills.

The Spires College is a co-educational, 11-18 School with a bilateral stream.   We are a friendly, caring school which puts the needs of our children at the heart of all we do.
