Student Leadership
Student leadership allows students to share who they are, what they believe in, and why they believe what they do, with their peers, parents, teachers and their entire school. It gives students the opportunity to develop their independence and resilience whilst promoting creativity and ambition. We believe every single student in every classroom has capacity for leadership and it has the power to not only positively impact the education climate of the school effectively, but also strengthen the sense of community and purpose throughout the student body. It has the power to positively contribute to the school’s ethos, as the calibre and abilities of a large percentage of the student body are taken into account. It enables students to be a part of the solution, rather than a part of the problem, giving students a sense of belonging through positive relationships with the wider school community.
